Case Study: Online Shop for 40 Farms Brings Farmers Closer to Their Customers
Gröna gårdar ("green farms") sells organic meat from animals of about 40 farms. For their new online shop, they had a series of specific requirements regarding logistics and warehousing. The choice fell on tailoring a custom solution with the help of Pimcore, with an additional frontend module built in Angular JS. The advantage of Pimcore was being able to use data object classes to tailor a fully customized eCommerce solution. By using Pimcore the special needs of the food business such as weekly stock managing and cooled transportation could be fulfilled easily. These were hard to find on a standardized eCommerce platform. The collaboration is long-term and the webshop will be developed and improved continuously.
