RESPONSIBILITIES

As IT-Specialist Microsoft 365 (f/m/x) at Pimcore you will….

  • Manage and oversee the implementation, maintenance, and support of Microsoft applications, including Azure, Intune, Defender, Entra, Exchange, Teams, and Endpoint Security

  • Stay updated of the latest industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to Microsoft technologies, and use this knowledge to provide informed recommendations for process improvements and optimizations

  • Plan, estimate, develop, improve, extend, modernize, review, and test applications in an agile organization.

  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify application requirements, evaluate existing solutions, and propose enhancements or new applications as needed

  • Ensure application security, reliability, and performance through the implementation of best practices and monitoring key metrics

  • Oversee application integration with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.

  • Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, service level agreements, and performance evaluations

  • Provide guidance and support to the IT team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture

  • Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and standard operating procedures

REQUIREMENTS

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT application management, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies

  • Strong knowledge of application development methodologies, integration techniques, and best practices

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and address technical challenges

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Fluent in English

  • A valid work permit for the European Union is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)

YOU CAN INSPIRE US WITH

  • Experience in IT security and data protection environment

  • Experience in working with and administering products from the Atlassian ecosystem, such as Jira or Confluence

  • Experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and service level agreement (SLA) management

  • Experience in developing and maintaining documentation, including policies, procedures, and technical specifications to ensure accurate and up-to-date information

  • Proactively identifying and addressing any issues or vulnerabilities

  • Willingness and interest in familiarizing yourself with new topics

  • The ability to work well in a team as well as independently on individual projects and challenges

For this position we differentiate Junior, Expert, and Senior maturity levels. For a full-time position in Austria with "Senior" seniority level, we offer a starting salary of EUR 65,000 gross/year with the potential to earn more, depending on your qualifications and experience. For a part-time position, the gross alliquotation will be determined based on the weekly working hours. For Germany, we determine salaries based on local market conditions, your qualifications and experience and will always ensure that we provide a fair and attractive salary.
